## How to view Course Insights

Follow these steps to open the Insights panel for a specific course:


1. From your workspace dashboard, select **Courses** from the navigation menu on the left.
2. From the main **Courses** dashboard, select the folder that contains your course (if applicable).
3. Scroll through your list of courses to find the one you want to analyse.
4. On the course card, click on the **Insights** button beneath the course title.
5. The **Insights** panel will open, displaying the **Link insights** tab by default.
6. In the **Course summary** section at the top, you can quickly view the total number of viewers and the overall completion rate for the selected date range.
7. Below the summary, review the **Progression funnel** to visualise how many viewers progress through each screen of your course and where they drop off.
8. Scroll down to the **Individual usage** section to see a detailed list of each learner, how much time they've spent in the course, and their progress percentage.
9. If your course is exported and used as a SCORM package, switch to the **SCORM usage** tab to view relevant SCORM analytics.

### Filter insights by date range

To analyse data from a different time period:


1. In the top-right corner of the **Insights** panel, click the date filter (by default this may show a recent range such as the last 7 days or a value like "<DATE_TIME>").
2. Select a new date range from the dropdown menu, such as **Last 7 days**, **Last 30 days**, **All time**, or a specific custom range.
3. The analytics in the **Course summary**, **Progression funnel**, and **Individual usage** sections will update automatically to reflect your chosen date range.

Link insights provide at-a-glance metrics for:

* The number of people who have started and completed your course.
* A **Progression funnel** that visually shows where learners drop off as they move through your course screens.
* **Individual usage** details that show how much time each learner has spent in the course and their progress percentage.
