## How translations work in Dynamic SCORM

### Single Dynamic SCORM for multiple languages

You do **not** need to create a separate SCORM package for each language.

When you translate a course (for example, into English and Spanish) and then export it as a Dynamic SCORM:

* The exported SCORM file contains all available language versions of the course.
* The SCORM package dynamically selects which language to display at runtime.

### Language selection behavior

When a learner launches the SCORM package from their LMS or other platform:


1. The SCORM package checks the learner’s default **browser language**.
2. If the browser language matches one of the course’s translated languages, the course is displayed in that language.
3. If there is no match, the course falls back to the **default language** configured for the course.

## Implications for LMS integrations

For partners or customers who embed your SCORM course in their LMS:

* They only need **one** Dynamic SCORM package for a course that has multiple translations.
* The Dynamic SCORM package will automatically present the correct language based on each learner’s browser language settings.
* There is no need to manage or distribute separate English and Spanish SCORM files for the same course.
