## Introduction

This guide provides an overview of how to manage, edit, and review your courses from the central **Courses** dashboard and within the course editor. It explains how to access key management features for each course card (such as sharing options, analytics, opening the editor, previewing content, duplicating, and deleting), how to open a course to work on its content directly, how to edit text and screens (slides), and how to return to the dashboard. It also briefly explains how to access these same tools when you’re working from a mobile device.

If you’ve just generated a new course (for example, from a document, presentation, or AI prompt), this article also shows you how to begin editing that course—adding questions, changing the design, and preparing it for sharing.

## Using the Courses dashboard


1. From the main workspace, navigate to the **Courses** page.
2. On this page, you'll find all your courses displayed as interactive cards in a grid.
3. If you don’t see the course you’re looking for immediately, scroll down to browse more.
   * If available, click **Show more courses** to expand the view and display more courses.
4. Each course card prominently displays the course title.
5. Hover over any course card to reveal quick actions.
6. Below the title, you have quick access to **Share** and **Insights** for each course.
7. For more options (such as **Preview**, **Duplicate**, or **Delete**), click the three-dot menu located on the right side of each course card.

## Managing and reviewing an individual course from the dashboard


1. Log in to your account to access the main dashboard.
2. Navigate to the **Courses** section from the main menu.
3. On the **Courses** page, locate the course you wish to manage.
4. From the course card, you can access different management options:
   * Click anywhere on the course card/tile to open the **course editor** and make content changes.
   * Click **Share** to open the share modal and configure how learners access the course.
   * Click **Insights** to view detailed analytics and learner progress for the course.
   * Click the three-dot menu to access additional options such as **Preview**, **Duplicate**, or **Delete** (and other course-level actions available in your workspace).
5. To delete multiple courses at once, select the checkbox on each course card. A toolbar will appear at the bottom of the screen where you can click **Delete** to remove all selected courses.

## Opening and editing a course in the editor

Once you click a course tile from the **Courses** dashboard, the course opens in the editor view.


1. From your workspace, navigate to the **Courses** tab on the left-hand menu. This will display all the courses you have created.
2. Scroll through the list to find the course you wish to work on.
   * If you have many courses, you may need to scroll down and/or click **Show more courses** to reveal the full list.
3. Click on the desired course tile. This will open the course in the editor view.
4. In the editor, you’ll see a list of screens (slides) on the left-hand side of the screen, and a preview of the currently selected screen in the main editing area.
5. Scroll through the left-hand screen list and click on any screen to view and edit its content.
6. To edit text on a screen, click directly on the text box (including the main title or any body text). A formatting toolbar will appear, allowing you to adjust fonts, headings, alignment, lists, and other text styles as needed.
7. If the screen contains interactive elements (such as checklists or accordion-style toggles), click on them to edit their labels, items, and settings. You can also interact with them to see how they will function for learners.
8. You can add new screens or elements, rearrange existing ones using the navigation pane, and remove any screens you no longer need.
9. Changes are saved automatically as you work. Use the back arrow in the editor to return to the **Courses** dashboard once you've finished editing.

## Editing a newly generated course

After you generate a course (for example, by transforming a document, converting a presentation, or generating with AI), it will open in the course editor. From here, you can refine both the content and the design.

### Adding questions and quizzes


1. In the course editor, use the left-hand screen list to navigate to where you want the quiz or question screen to appear.
2. Click **Add screen** (or the "+" icon) and choose a **Quiz** screen or another interactive screen type.
3. On a Quiz screen, click **Add question** to insert a new question.
4. Choose a question type, such as **Multiple choice**, **True / False**, **Multiple response**, **Short answer**, **Fill in the blank**, **Match corresponding**, or **Match sequence**.
5. Enter your question text, possible answers, and mark the correct option(s).
6. Repeat these steps to add as many questions as needed, then use **Preview** to test the quiz experience.

### Changing the course design


1. With your course open in the editor, click the **Course themes** button in the top header (paint swatches icon).
2. Select an existing theme or, if your plan allows, customize colors, fonts, and logo to match your brand.
3. Adjust any additional design options offered (such as emphasizing start/finish screens) and apply your changes.
4. Return to your screens and review how the new design looks. You can switch themes or adjust settings again at any time before publishing.

## How to edit text on a course screen


1. In the course editor, navigate to the screen you wish to edit using the left-hand navigation pane.
2. To edit a piece of text, simply click on the text box. A formatting toolbar will appear.
3. For titles, highlight the existing text and type your new title.
4. For paragraphs or other body text, click inside the text box, delete or adjust the existing content, and type your new information.
5. You can use the options in the formatting toolbar to adjust alignment, apply bold or italics, and make other changes.
6. Your changes are saved automatically as you type.

## Previewing and publishing from the editor


1. After making edits, you can click **Preview** in the top-right corner of the editor to see the course exactly as a learner would experience it.
2. Use the preview window to test navigation, review content, and check that interactive elements (like quizzes or checklists) behave as expected.
3. When you’re satisfied with your changes, click the **Publish** button located in the top-right corner of the editor.
4. A publishing menu will appear showing the **time since last published** and the number of **changes** since the last publish.
5. Review your changes, then click **Publish** again to confirm.
6. Once the process is complete, your updates will be live for learners.

## Accessing course management tools on mobile

If you’re managing your courses from a mobile device, you’ll see a slightly different layout, but the same options are available.


1. Log into your account on your mobile browser.
2. After logging in, you’ll land on the **Courses** dashboard, which displays all your available courses.
3. A notification may appear stating that the course builder is best on a desktop. Tap **Continue** to proceed.
4. To see additional navigation options (such as **Courses**, **Collections**, and **Settings**), tap the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner.
5. To manage your profile or log out, tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
6. To manage a specific course, tap its course card on the **Courses** dashboard, then use the same options described above (**Share**, **Insights**, **Preview** via the three-dot menu, etc.), adapted to the mobile layout.

## Summary

By using the central **Courses** dashboard and the controls on each course card, you can quickly view all your courses, configure sharing, duplicate or delete them, open the editor to update content, monitor learner performance through insights, and preview course content. Once in the editor, you can see and edit all course screens using the navigation pane, edit text on individual screens, add and rearrange screens, adjust the course design, and rely on automatic saving while you work. When you’re ready, you can publish your changes from the same view and return to the dashboard, all from one central hub—on both desktop and mobile.
