Use Embed Core for things like building a course catalogue into your SaaS product, embedding partner training inside your partner portal, adding a customer education layer to your application, building in-app onboarding flows that draw on Coassemble content, or running a white-label learning experience for your end customers. The unifying thread is that Coassemble lives inside your product, with your UI and your tenancy model around it, rather than being a destination your users have to leave to access.

## Who is Embed Core for?

Embed Core suits a technical buyer, developer, or product team building Coassemble into a product, partner platform, or internal tool. You typically have engineering resource available, you are working under a formal commercial agreement, and your integration is meant for production, not a prototype.

The most common Embed Core profile: a software product team building a course catalogue, partner training surface, or customer education experience into their own application, where the look-and-feel, authoring, and analytics need to live inside their UI rather than in a separate Coassemble destination.

## What you can do on Embed Core

Embed Core includes everything from Hub, plus the full embedded integration capability set.

### Embeddables (delivery and authoring)

Embed Core gives you every embeddable, in both view mode and edit mode:

* Players: Course Player, Collection Player
* Cards: Course Card, Collection Card
* Lists: Course List, Collection List
* Analytics: Course Analytics, Collection Analytics, User Analytics
* Builders (edit mode): Course Builder, Collection Builder

Each embeddable works the same way: your backend requests a per-user URL from our API, and you render that URL in an iframe in your product. There is no instance limit on Embed Core, so you can deploy as many embeddables as your product needs.

A note on how embeddables work: each one needs a per-user URL minted at page load. Your system needs to know who the user is when the page renders, and your backend needs to make the API call to generate the URL. This works well for identified contexts (logged-in product surfaces, customer portals, internal applications, partner portals), and is the model documented in the API docs.

### The full Coassemble API

Embed Core gives you the full Coassemble API surface, with a small set of capabilities reserved for Embed Automate (destructive identity and tracking operations, programmatic publish and revert, the Themes API, the Translations API, and SCORM via API). On Embed Core you get:

* All read operations across courses, collections, screens, identities, and tracking.
* Write operations on courses, collections, screens, identities, and tracking (create, update, duplicate, restore, soft-delete).
* The full Generate API for programmatically generating courses, screens, and quizzes from prompts or documents.
* Standalone SCORM and Dynamic SCORM via in-app manual download.
* All postMessage events fired from embeddables.
* All webhooks: course.created, course.commenced, course.completed.
* Usage reporting endpoints for checking allowance state and per-tenant usage.

### Tenancy

You can model multiple tenants (your customers or partners) inside one Coassemble workspace. Each tenant is an isolated grouping of identities and content access, which suits multi-customer platform deployments where each tenant needs their own data scope.

### Branding

Embed Core includes everything Hub has on branding: themes, custom fonts, badge removal. Two visual-branding capabilities are reserved for Embed Automate: the themeId parameter on embeddables, and the full Themes API for programmatic theme management. Without those, content created programmatically renders in the base preset theme until you assign a theme in-app.

### Server options

The standard release server is the default. The controlled release server (a shared environment with delayed and more rigorously validated releases, intended for greater production stability) is available as an option at point of sale. The controlled release server has to be selected on Day 1: it cannot be added after onboarding, so raise it during the sales conversation if you want it.

### Legal and commercial framework

Embed Core uses the Order Form model: standard terms of service that aren't negotiable, plus a signed Order Form covering the commercial variables (price, committed IR volume, duration, payment terms). A Data Processing Agreement is included as a standard addendum. The contracting process is fast: there is no legal redlining cycle, which suits teams who want to get moving without a multi-week legal cycle.

### Support

Priority support is included, alongside the knowledge base and in-product AI support available on every plan.

A few notes.

IR allowance on the Embed plans works differently from how it works on Pulse and Hub. You commit to an IR volume at contract signing, which sets both your annual platform fee and your per-IR overage rate. The standard sales-deck tiers are 500, 2,000, or 10,000 IRs per month, with higher volumes available as a bespoke commercial conversation. Your committed monthly volume becomes a 12-month annual pool you can draw from across the year.

Anonymous views and AI metrics (narration tokens, image generations) on Embed Core are soft-capped: if you exceed your allowance, anonymous access keeps working and AI generation keeps running. The breach is tracked and the conversation about adjusting your allowance happens commercially rather than as an in-product block.

AI image generation during course creation is switched off by default. If you are running an integration where Coassemble's authoring UI is not exposed to your end users, you can enable a toggle so image generation runs as part of programmatic course creation against your monthly allowance.

## What Embed Core does not include

Capabilities that are part of Embed Automate or Embed Partner:

* Programmatic publish and revert (POST /course/{id}/publish, POST /course/{id}/revert)
* SCORM via API (programmatic SCORM export, both dynamic and standalone)
* Destructive identity and tracking operations (DELETE /client, DELETE /user, DELETE /tracking) for GDPR right-to-erasure workflows
* The full Themes API and the themeId parameter on embeddables
* The full Translations API for programmatic multilingual content management
* Dedicated server, region-locked server, or self-hosting (Embed Partner)
* MSA with full legal negotiation (Embed Partner)
* Go-to-market support and dedicated account management (Embed Partner)

## When to move from Embed Core

The move from Embed Core to Embed Automate is built around five capability stories. Any one of them is a reason to look at Embed Automate:

* **Programmatic content lifecycle.** You need to automate publish and revert: scheduled releases, external approval workflows, CI/CD-style content operations.
* **Programmatic SCORM export.** You are generating and distributing SCORM packages on a schedule or trigger, not as one-off manual downloads.
* **Destructive data operations.** You have GDPR right-to-erasure obligations and need to delete identity or tracking records via API.
* **Visual branding and theming at scale.** You are building a multi-tenant product where each tenant needs its own visual theme applied programmatically using themeId and the Themes API.
* **Multilingual content at scale.** You are operating across languages and need to create, sync, and manage translated content via API.
