# How do I request a password reset link?

## Introduction

This article explains how to start the password reset process by requesting a reset link.

## Steps

1. On the password entry (login) screen, click the **Forgot password?** link.
2. A pop-up window titled **Forgot your password?** will appear.
3. In the **Enter your email address** field, type the email associated with your account.
4. Click **Send email** to proceed.
5. You will see a confirmation message such as **Check your inbox.** A password reset email will be sent to you.

**Note:** For security purposes, the password reset link is only valid for a limited time (as indicated in the email). If it expires, repeat the steps above to request a new link.

## Summary

To initiate a password reset, click **Forgot password?**, enter your email on the **Forgot your password?** prompt, and select **Send email**. A link to reset your password will be sent to your inbox and will expire after a limited time.
