Flow is a good fit when the content is open by design and identifying every learner isn't the point. Common uses:

* Community knowledge sharing where the audience is broad and largely anonymous.
* Public-facing learning resources you want to make available to anyone.
* Internal wikis that you want to wrap in a richer, more interactive experience than a static doc.
* Lightweight onboarding for small or fluid teams where formal tracking is overkill.
* Trying Coassemble out before deciding whether to move to a paid plan.

## Who is Flow for?

Flow suits creators, department managers, HR teammates, and L&D folks who want a fast path from idea to a shareable course. You build a course, share the link, and anyone you send it to can take it. Unlimited people on your account can build alongside you, and the number of courses you can create is unlimited too.

If you need a record of who specifically completed your course, who got stuck where, or who scored what on a quiz, that lives on the paid plans. Flow gives you aggregate numbers (how many views, overall sentiment) rather than individual journeys.

## What you can do on Flow

**Build courses every way Coassemble supports.** Start from scratch, generate a course from a prompt with AI, transform a document into a course, or convert a PowerPoint into a course word-for-word. The course builder is the full builder, not a stripped-down version.

**Pull in source material from where it lives.** Connect to OneDrive or Google Drive to bring in documents directly. Add images from your own asset library, free images from Unsplash, or GIFs from GIPHY. Record videos directly into a course using the Loom integration.

**Use AI to speed up authoring.** Generate a full course structure from a prompt, transform a document, generate quiz questions during the build, generate individual screens, or add AI narration with our standard voice catalogue. The AI tools are there to take the cold-start problem out of authoring.

**Share courses wherever a link works.** Paste your share link into Slack, Microsoft Teams, Notion, Confluence, an email, an intranet page, anywhere that unfurls a link. Anyone with the link can open the course on any device, no login needed. Their progress saves automatically.

**See how your courses are performing in aggregate.** You can see how many people viewed your course, the progression funnel (where people drop off), completion rates across the audience, and sentiment feedback from the people who took the course.

**Pick from preset themes.** Choose a theme that suits the content. Your courses use Coassemble's preset visual styles.

Flow comes with the knowledge base and in-product AI support, the same as every plan.

A few notes on these numbers.

Anonymous views are counted across your workspace each month. The 500 cap resets at the start of each month. If you reach the cap, anonymous sharing pauses until the month rolls over or you move to a paid plan, and you will see an in-product prompt explaining what happened.

AI narration on Flow uses our standard voice catalogue. The paid plans use a premium voice catalogue.

AI image generation during course creation (when you build a course from a prompt, document, or PowerPoint) is switched off by default on Flow. You can still generate individual images using the image generation tools in the builder.

## What Flow does not include

So you don't run into surprises, here is what Flow does not include:

* Identified access. There is no way on Flow to require an email address before someone opens a course, so you can't see who specifically took it.
* Individual learner reporting. You see aggregate course performance, not who completed what.
* Video upload. You can embed Loom recordings, YouTube videos, and Vimeo videos in a course, but you cannot upload video files directly to Coassemble.
* Embeddable course players, cards, lists, or analytics widgets for placing courses inside your own product or website.
* API access for programmatic course management.
* SCORM packages for delivering content into an external LMS.
* Custom themes, logo upload, custom fonts, or Coassemble badge removal.
* Domain locking, Slack channel sharing, or pre-determined access lists.
* Folders to organise your course library.
* Collections, which group courses into structured programmes.
* Ability to generate a screen with AI using a prompt.

If any of those matter for what you are trying to do, the next section is for you.

## When to move from Flow

The most common reason to step up from Flow is wanting to know who took your course. That unlocks at Pulse, which adds identified access, individual learner reporting, video upload, basic embedded surfaces, and the option to put your own logo.

Other common reasons to step up:

* You want to upload your own video files, not just embed Loom recordings. Video upload is available from Pulse.
* You want to send content as a SCORM package into an LMS. Dynamic SCORM is available from Hub.
* You are running into the 500 monthly anonymous view cap regularly.
* You want to organise your library with folders (available from Pulse) or group courses into structured programmes called Collections (available from Hub).
