# How do I upload custom fonts?

Custom fonts sit inside themes. When you create or edit a theme, you can add your own font files for headings and body text.

Custom fonts live inside themes. When you create or edit a theme in the Brand kit, you can upload your own typefaces and apply them to your headings and body text, so your courses match your brand's typography.

## Add a custom font

1. In the Brand kit, create or edit a **theme**.
2. Go to the **Fonts** section.
3. Open the font dropdown for **Headings and labels** or **Body**.
4. Select **Add fonts** under the CUSTOM category.
5. In the **Upload custom fonts** window, drag and drop your font file or browse to upload it.
6. Save your changes.

Supported font formats are WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, and OTF.
