## Introduction

This article demonstrates how to view the analytics for a single, individual course. These insights help you understand the performance and engagement of a specific piece of content.

## Steps

1. Navigate to the **Courses** page from the main side menu.
2. Open the folder containing the course you wish to analyze.
3. Locate your course in the list. On the course card, click the **Insights** icon.
4. A pop-up window will appear, opening on the **Link insights** tab by default and displaying the **Course summary**.
5. This summary provides analytics on how learners are engaging with that specific course (for example, total viewers and overall completion rate for the selected date range). If no data is visible, a message will prompt you to share the course to begin collecting insights.
6. To change the reporting period, click the date dropdown menu in the top-right corner and select a different range (for example **All time** or a custom date range).
7. Review the **Progression funnel** to see where learners are dropping off as they move through the course. Hover over bars in the chart to see the exact number of viewers for each screen.
8. Scroll down to the **Individual usage** section for a detailed table of each learner, including who has viewed the course, the total time they’ve spent, and their current progress percentage.
9. When you are finished reviewing the analytics, click the **X** icon in the top-right corner to close the window.

Checking course-level insights is a straightforward way to monitor the performance of an individual course. By opening the Insights panel from the course card, you can review the Course summary, adjust the date range, and use the Progression funnel and Individual usage data to understand engagement and identify drop-off points so you can improve your content.
